What I did on the Queens birthday

 Queens Birthday

“Thump” I fell off the bed and got shocked because I found myself on the floor. I stood up to see if my parents were awake but nope they were still sleeping. 

So I went to brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I happened to find my brother. I was surprised because my brother normally wakes up late but he actually woke up early.

After I finished I went to open the door for my dog Rocky because he was crying to come inside. Then mum woke up and told me to take Rocky back outside because he was gonna jump on the bed and lick their faces and they would get pretty annoyed.

Then I went to take rocky for a walk. Finally my parents woke up and then dad started to get ready for work because he needed to wait for the person to come and finish his tatoo.

“ Irene!!!! “ yelled mum “Yes” Said me “ come here !!!” yelled mum so I went to her and she said to me that something was happening today. I asked her “ What?” She said “ It’s the queen's birthday today” I said “Ohhh Yeah”, what are we going to do?” “Nothing” said mum.

I was surprised because I thought we were going to do something. She said no because my dad was really busy and we didn’t have time to do anything. I asked my mum, “What are we doing that makes us busy?” I asked “ cleaning the house and helping dad out!” said mum. 

A little while later we finished cleaning the house and we went to get real fruit ice cream because dad was happy for us to help him out. So when we got there I got mango and my mum, dad, brother and cousin had bananas.

While we were finishing off our ice cream we went to the beach and went for a walk then we went home and went to sleep and that's how we finished off the day.

I had a great day on the queen's birthday because fruit ice cream is my favourite ice cream and I love helping my family.
