Dear Santa

Dear Santa,

My name is Irene and I am 9 years old. What I really want for Christmas is a real cute good looking fluffy  dog and a new bike.

I think I’ve been a good girl this year. I’ve been helping my parents and sometimes being nice to my big brother Fred.

Even though you never gave me a present last year, I will still leave out carrots, milk and cookies for you and the reindeer. Please say hi to Rudolf because I like Rudolf.

I can't wait until Christmas presents and all those things. But I mostly can’t wait to see how many presents under the Christmas tree.

My acrostic poem about electricity

Everyone in NZ uses electricity.

Lightbulbs use electricity.

Electricity is everywhere in NZ.

Cars don’t have electricity but the radio does.

Turn off lights.

Remember to turn things off when you don’t need it.

It's important to learn about electricity.

Charge your  computer but don't go on it because it will go flat.

I can't play with electricity because I know that it will shock me.

Travels through power lines.

You can be electricity smart too.

Saving Electricity

If  I  wanted to save electricity I would turn everything off because I’m not using it. When you have a shower take two minutes. When you finish turn it off. When you go to sleep, turn the lights off. If you are using the tap and you finished turn it off. If you finished watching  a movie on the tv you got to turn it off. Make sure to not have a shower to long. When you finish using the microwave turn it off. Turn everything off when your not using it.That is how to save electricity.

Energy

Today we learnt about being sun smart. I created a poster using google draw. I hope you learn something new.

Recount

In the holidays, I slept at my cousins house. His name is Tini. He wanted me to sleep over because he is the only one that was at home with his parent’s.

His two sisters are at his grandparents' house and his sisters twin Makelika died when she was born and his one and only brother was at my house with my brother Fred. 

when it was night time I was really frightened  because it was dark and it was only me and Tini in the sitting room by ourselves. Inside of me my heart was beating fast and it was going BOOM BOOM. Tini’s parents was at the kitchen eating. Then me and Tini fell asleep. The next morning my uncle came to do the prayer. 

When we finished me and Tini were playing cards. We 

Played five games of memory and five games of last card.Then we played on the PlayStation. We played Call Of Duty. Then my uncle dropped me off to my house.
